YWAM-Mercy Website Redesign

I have just completed a redesign for the YWAM-Mercy website. YWAM-Mercy is the mercy ministries arm of Youth With A Mission International.

The request was to redesign the existing website, making the look more modern (while keeping it's edginess), and make it easier for the client to make minor updates thenselves. To start with I decided to base the website on Pixie CMS. I decided to use Pixie this time, because the need was for a simple, lightweight CMS which also gave a lot of flexibility and ease for custom programming. In the final website, it uses some existing Pixie Modules (with modifications, such as book reviews, links, etc), along with various custom modules (Daily Prayers, Countries, etc). Pixie is a great CMS to use on small and lightweight websites.
